About this test
Combine two cells' shapes into a third by figure ADDITION (union — nothing is ever removed) or figure SUBTRACTION (shapes shared by both cells cancel out). One of the five canonical rule types identified in Carpenter, Just & Shell's (1990) classic analysis of Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices — genuinely distinct from -001's single-cell attribute transformations and -002's positional (row/column-index) rules.
