Help & FAQ

How to use the platform, and answers to common questions.

How to use it

  1. Pick a test Browse the catalog by category — logical, numerical, verbal, spatial, and more — or jump straight into a full timed mock exam that combines one section per category.
  2. Choose your mode Practice reveals the correct answer and a full explanation right after each question. Exam gives no feedback until the end, when you see a complete report — closer to a real assessment.
  3. Set your timer Pick a preset, play with no time limit, or set a custom time — then start.
  4. Review your result Every report shows your score, what it means, and a question-by-question breakdown with explanations. Your history is saved in this browser — check /stats to see your progress over time.
  5. See your report by profile From your exam-mode tests and your games, the report estimates how ready you are for the kind of role you choose. Part of it is free, and the full report is optional and paid. Find it at /informe.

Practice games

Six original games to get you familiar with this kind of task. They are practice only: not an assessment or a hiring result. Open one to watch a demo and see how it is played.

Results report

The report brings together your exam-mode tests and your practice games and reads them for the kind of role you choose. Part of it is free. The full report is optional and costs CLP 5,680 (VAT included) in Chile with Flow or USD 5.94 (VAT included) with PayPal from abroad, as a one-time payment; everything else stays free.

What does the free version include, and what does the full report add?

For free you see your readiness index (0–100) for the chosen profile, your highlights, your first gap and your play style. The full report adds your result by category with its margin of error, all your gaps, your pace and accuracy, where points slip away, your style read for the profile, your progress and a 14-day practice plan. You can see what the full report looks like in a sample with fictitious data.

See a sample report

Which profiles are there, and what changes when I pick one?

There are five: Finance and analysis, Engineering and operations, Administration and back-office, Sales and customer service, and Trainee and graduates. The profile changes which categories weigh more in your report, not your results. You can switch at any time, and the full report unlocks every profile.

What do I need before I can buy the full report?

Some profile must reach the base level, and you need results in 3 different games. The base level asks for 4 exam-mode tests, each in a different area of the profile, including every area that weighs most in it: about a 50-minute session. Game results count for 24 hours, so it is best to play them in the same session. The report page shows which tests you are missing, with links. We ask for this so you never pay for a report with too little data.

Why does only the first exam-mode attempt count?

Because practice mode shows you the answers, and when you retake a test you already know the questions. Each area is computed from the first exam-mode attempt of each test, adding up their questions. Every result carries its margin of error (±): the more questions, the smaller the margin.

How do I pay for the full report?

In Chile, with Flow: with Webpay or a debit, credit or prepaid card, in Chilean pesos, for CLP 5,680 (VAT included). From abroad, with PayPal: with your PayPal account or a debit or credit card, in US dollars, for USD 5.94 (VAT included). Either way it is a one-time payment, with no subscription and without creating an account on this site. If you pay with PayPal in another currency, your bank or PayPal converts it.

How long does access last, and on how many devices does it work?

It lasts 30 days from the purchase and works on up to 3 devices or browsers. When it ends, you see the free version again; your results stay saved in your browser.

How do I open the report on another device?

After you pay, we email you from informes@latinshare.com with a code (INF-XXXX-XXXX) and a link. Open the link on the other device, or go to the report and choose "Already have a code? Enter it here". Keep in mind that your results are saved in each browser: on a new device, the report only shows the tests and games you take there.

The email never arrived, or I lost my code. What can I do?

The email can take a few minutes; check your spam or junk folder too. If it is not there, go to the report, choose "Already have a code? Enter it here", then "Can't find your code? Request a new one", and type the email you paid with. The new code replaces the old one, and devices already unlocked stay as they are. If the problem continues, write to contacto@latinshare.com.

I closed the window during payment. Do I have to pay again?

No. If the payment went through, we still email you the code. Do not pay again: wait for the email, or request a new code with the email you paid with.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You have a right of withdrawal: within 10 calendar days of the purchase, without giving a reason and even if you already opened the report, by writing to contacto@latinshare.com from the purchase email. We refund the full amount by the same method: through PayPal, in US dollars, or through Flow, in pesos (with Flow, Flow emails you to accept the refund and you have 10 calendar days to accept it; if you don't accept it in time, write to us at contacto@latinshare.com); once refunded, the code stops working and access on your devices ends within 3 days at most.

Does the report send my results to a server?

No. The report is computed in your browser. When you buy it, the server stores only your email, the payment details in PayPal or in Flow and an anonymous identifier per device for the 3-device limit, never your answers or your scores. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Does the report tell me whether I will be hired?

No. It is a practice report: it is not a psychological or clinical test, it does not compare you with any population and it does not predict whether you will be hired. The goals are editorial references to organize your practice, not any company's cut-off.

Recruiter platform

Companies, consultancies and recruiters can invite their candidates to take tests and games from this site under their own brand, and see their results ordered by the job goals. It is a paid subscription service; candidates pay nothing. Below are answers for recruiters and for people who receive an invitation.

What plans are there for recruiters and how much do they cost?

There are two, renewed automatically: monthly, CLP 5,680 per month (VAT included) if you pay in Chilean pesos with Flow or USD 5.94 per month (VAT included) if you pay in US dollars with PayPal, with up to 10 candidates per billing period, and annual, CLP 56,690 per year (VAT included) with Flow or USD 59.49 per year (VAT included) with PayPal, with up to 20 candidates per month, counted from the sign-up date. For more candidates or several recruiters, write to contacto@latinshare.com.

How do I pay for the subscription?

In Chile, with Flow, in Chilean pesos: payment is by Cargo Automático (automatic charge), so you register a credit or debit card on Flow's site and Flow charges it for the first period and each renewal; the card never goes through us. From abroad, with PayPal, in US dollars: with your PayPal account or a card; if you pay in another currency, your bank or PayPal does the conversion. Either way, the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. If Flow or PayPal can't collect a renewal, the subscription is suspended and the account is read-only until the charge goes through; with Flow, you can also cancel it from the panel. If you pay with Flow, we email you the electronic invoice (factura).

How do I sign in to the recruiter panel?

With the access code we email you when you subscribe; there is no password and we only store the code's hash. The session lasts 12 hours and lives only in that tab: once you close it, you sign in again with your code. If you lose it, ask for a new one with your subscription email; the old one stops working.

How do I create a position?

You type the job title (client and description are optional) and choose a base profile, which fills in the weights (0 to 3) and goals of each category; you can change them all. Each category with a weight above 0 adds one test to the evaluation, and you can add games. The panel shows the estimated time and warns you when it goes over 60 minutes. Once created, you get the link for your candidates. Closing a position is final: the link stops accepting new people.

When does a candidate count against my quota?

When they confirm their email for the first time on a position, after accepting the consent. If the same person comes back with the same email to the same position, they do not count again. With the quota full, the link shows as unavailable to new people. The quota resets with each period, and unused quota does not carry over.

How is the candidate ranking ordered?

By fit: the candidate's average result across the job's categories, from 0 to 100, weighted by the weights you set. Each result has a margin of error (±) that depends on the number of questions, and the fit shows its own. When two candidates are within that margin, the ranking marks them "No clear difference" instead of suggesting an order. A category is above or below its goal only when the gap reaches the margin; otherwise it is near the goal. Candidates who have not finished come after those who have, and games never add or subtract.

What do the results of an evaluation measure?

They are standardized practice results on the same tests as the public site, so a candidate may have practised them before. They are not a psychological or clinical test, they are not compared with any population and they do not predict performance. Use them together with interviews and your own judgement, never as the sole criterion: the decision is yours.

Can I download a candidate's report as a PDF?

Yes. The report carries your brand and your review, and "Download PDF" uses the browser's print to produce a clean A4 page, from a phone or in dark mode too. The footer always says these are standardized practice results, that it is not a psychological or clinical test and that the decision is the recruiter's.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you pay with Flow, you cancel from the panel (Subscription → Cancel subscription); if you pay with PayPal, from your PayPal account. Either way, you keep full access until the end of the paid period. After that, the account stays read-only for 12 months: you can view, print and delete, but not create positions or receive new candidates; anyone who already confirmed their email has 7 days to finish. With a refund, read-only starts immediately. If you subscribe again with the same email before the account is deleted, you get back your brand, your positions and the candidates not yet deleted.

How do I change the card?

If you pay with Flow, write to us at contacto@latinshare.com from the account email and we help you change the card Flow charges your subscription to. If you pay with PayPal, you change the payment method in your PayPal account.

How do I delete my candidates' data or my account?

From the panel you can delete a candidate, or a whole position with its candidates, at any time, read-only included. Candidates are also deleted automatically 6 months after the position closes or 12 months after they registered, and the account 12 months after the subscription ends. To correct a candidate's data, write to contacto@latinshare.com; to delete your account sooner, see "How do I delete my account?".

How do I delete my account?

Write to contacto@latinshare.com from your account email and ask us to delete it; if you write from another address, we'll ask you to confirm from the account email. We confirm by email once it's done. On deletion, the subscription is cancelled (if still active) and your brand, positions, candidates and their reports are deleted and can't be recovered, so first download as PDF the reports you want to keep. For tax reasons, the payment records (without your email or brand) are kept for 6 years.

Can I get a refund of the subscription?

Yes. You have a right of withdrawal within 10 calendar days of the first charge, without giving a reason, and we refund that charge. After that, you can ask for a refund of any renewal within 10 calendar days of that charge. In both cases, write to contacto@latinshare.com from the account email. We refund the charge by the same method: through PayPal, in US dollars, or through Flow, in pesos (with Flow, Flow emails you to accept the refund and you have 10 calendar days to accept it; if you don't accept it in time, write to us at contacto@latinshare.com). Once refunded, the subscription is cancelled and full access ends immediately: the account becomes read-only, as described in "What happens if I cancel my subscription?". To use the platform again, subscribe again.

I was invited to an evaluation. What is it?

A company or a recruiter sent you a link to take some tests and games from this site as part of a hiring process. It is free for you. Before you start, you see the company's brand, the job title and the estimated time. The results are standardized practice results, not a psychological test, and a person at the company makes the decision.

What do I accept in the evaluation's consent?

Before anything is stored, a screen tells you who receives your data, what is shared, what for, how long it is kept and whom to ask for access or deletion. If you do not accept, none of your data is stored. As across the whole service, request counters keyed by a hash of the IP address exist to limit abuse. If you accept, we record the date and the version of the text you accepted.

What is the 6-digit code for?

To confirm the email is yours. It comes from informes@latinshare.com and expires in 15 minutes; if you cannot find it, check your spam folder or ask for a new one. After 5 wrong attempts, ask for a new code.

How much time do I have, and what happens if the connection drops or my phone locks?

Each test has its time limit, which you see before you start. The server keeps the time from the moment you start, and it keeps running if you close the page, reload, lose the connection or your phone locks. Your answers are saved in the browser as you go: if you come back before the time runs out, you continue with what is left. If you closed the tab, open the link again and confirm your email (if it says it is unavailable, choose "I already started this evaluation"). To count, the test must reach the server no later than 30 seconds after the limit; if it arrives later, it is recorded with no answers. You can rest between one test and the next, but not during one.

Can I retake a test of the evaluation?

No. You have one attempt per test and per game: the server rejects a second submission. If you come back with the same email, you pick up your evaluation where you left it, but you cannot redo what you already sent.

What does the company see, and what does it never see?

It sees your name, your email, your results on each test (correct answers out of the total, correct answers by difficulty, unanswered questions and time used), your style in the games, and when you confirmed your email and when you finished. It never sees your individual answers: the server grades them and discards them. Nor does it see your practice on this site or your history, which stay only in your browser.

How long is my evaluation data kept?

Up to 6 months after the company closes the position, and at most 12 months after you registered, whichever comes first. If you never confirmed your email, the registration is kept for 24 hours. In both cases, the data is deleted in the next daily maintenance.

How do I ask for my evaluation data to be deleted?

Write to the company that invited you (its contact email is shown on the consent screen, if the company gave one) or to contacto@latinshare.com. The company decides about your data and can delete it from its panel at any time; LatinShare keeps it on the company's behalf. The tests and games left in your browser are yours to clear, from your browser's settings.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. The app works with no signup or login. Your progress is saved automatically in this browser. You do not need an account to buy the full report either: you unlock it with a code we email you. Only the paid recruiter platform uses your email as an account, with an access code and no password.

Is my data sent to a server?

Not when you practise. Your results, your history and every score calculation stay in your own browser (localStorage). A small server processes the optional full report purchase, without your answers or scores, and runs the recruiter platform: if a company invites you to an evaluation, the results of that evaluation are sent to that company (see "Recruiter platform"). If you clear your site data or switch browsers/devices, you'll lose your history.

What's the difference between Practice and Exam mode?

Practice shows you the correct answer and a full explanation right after you answer each question. Exam gives no hints until the end, when you see the complete report — closer to how a real assessment feels.

What is the mock exam?

A full timed battery that combines one section from each category, back to back, so you can rehearse a real hiring assessment end to end.

How is my score calculated?

It depends on the test. Most show the percentage of correct answers with a qualitative interpretation (see "Score meaning" on any report). The Cognitive Ability Test additionally uses a difficulty-weighted 0-100 normalized score — see the Concepts page for the detail.

Does the Cognitive Ability Test measure my real IQ?

No. It's a practice tool inspired by the format of cognitive-ability batteries used in hiring (TestGorilla, CCAT, SHL) — never a certified psychometric test or a clinical IQ measurement.

Is the content copied from real tests?

No. Every question is original, written and inspired only by the FORMAT of known typologies (analogies, series, matrices, syllogisms, etc.), never copied word-for-word or adapted from a published test.

Is it free?

Yes, practising is free, with no usage limits. The only paid item for people who practise is the optional full report: CLP 5,680 (VAT included) in Chile with Flow, or USD 5.94 (VAT included) with PayPal from abroad, one-time, with 30 days of access. Companies that evaluate candidates with the recruiter platform pay a separate subscription. Everything else remains free.

Can I use it in another language?

Yes — English and Spanish, with the language switcher in the header.

How do I make the text bigger or turn on high contrast?

Use the accessibility icon in the header (next to the dark-mode toggle) to adjust text size and turn on a high-contrast mode.

What are the practice games?

Six original games inspired by experimental-psychology tasks (risk, attention, memory, planning, learning), similar to those some game-based hiring platforms use. They are not tests or psychological assessments: the summary describes how you played one session, with no percentiles and no comparison with other people. Find them in the Games section.

How does pausing work in the games?

You can pause with the Pause button or the P key (on a keyboard, Escape also pauses in games that do not use it for something else). If you switch tabs or minimize the window, the game pauses by itself. The round in progress does not count, and when you continue you pick up where you left off.

What is the full circuit?

All six games back to back with a break between each, in about 25 minutes. In the circuit the response times are fixed and cannot be extended; if you need extra time, play each game on its own.

Where are game results stored, and for how long?

Only in this browser, for 24 hours; if you have the full report active, they are kept for up to 30 days, still only in this browser. There is no account and we never send answers, timings or results to any server. After that time, or if you clear your site data, they are gone. The exception is when you play inside a recruiter's evaluation: your play style (not your answers or timings) is sent to that company.

How do I delete my game sessions?

From the summary or the games catalog, with the "Delete my games" link. It deletes every session saved in this browser and cannot be undone.

What does "Reduce motion and flashes" do?

It removes animations and flash effects in the games and demos. In some games the shapes still appear and disappear quickly because that is part of the task. If motion bothers you or you have photosensitive epilepsy, turn it on or do not play.

Can I play with the keyboard?

Yes. Pump and Bank: Space to pump and Enter to cash out. Traffic Light: Space. Middle or Sides: left and right arrow keys. Digit Series: keys 1 to 9, Backspace to erase and Enter to confirm. Pegs and Discs: keys 1 to 3, Backspace to undo and Escape to drop. Four Decks: keys 1 to 4. The P key pauses in all of them.

Is a game summary a hiring result?

No. It is a practice summary: it describes how you played one session (decisions, speed, accuracy), not a trait or an ability, and it has no value in any hiring process. A single session is noisy and changes with your device and tiredness.

Does practicing improve my result?

Yes, mostly in format familiarity, pacing and time management, though it does not change your underlying ability. Practice removes surprises and cuts nervous errors. See the guide at /guias/practicar-mejora-resultado for how to practice well.
