Logic Interview Tests ("we", "us") is a practice platform developed by LatinShare, free except for an optional paid results report and a paid platform for recruiters. This policy explains what data we collect when you use it — and, mostly, what we don't.
The short version
To practise, there are no user accounts and no signup. Everything the app remembers about your practice — your theme, your language, your test history, your preferences — lives only in your own browser and is never sent to us. The results of the tests and games you take to practise never leave your browser, and neither does the results report itself.
There are three exceptions, and only in those cases does our server store data: the optional purchase of the report (section "If you buy the results report"); a subscription to the recruiter platform (section "If you use the recruiter platform"); and an evaluation a recruiter invites you to with a link, where your results are sent to the company that invited you (section "If you take a recruiter's evaluation").
Data we do not collect
If you do not buy the report, do not use the recruiter platform and do not take a recruiter's evaluation, we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information, and we do not run any advertising pixels or third-party tracking of any kind. The only exceptions are those three cases and Google Analytics, only if you consent to it; all are described below. If you open the report's payment window, PayPal loads and applies its own privacy policy; the same goes for the recruiter subscription window. If you choose to pay for the report in Chilean pesos, Flow's site opens and applies its own.
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages get visited, roughly how many people use the site, and similar high-level trends. It is never loaded until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; if you decline, or never make a choice, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookie is ever set.
When active, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (see our Cookie Policy for the exact names and durations) and sends standard usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type — to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not combine this with any personal information: Google Analytics never receives the data of a purchase, a recruiter account or an evaluation.
The pages of an evaluation (/evaluacion/…) and of the recruiter panel (/reclutadores/panel/…) never send their address or any event to Google Analytics, and they never travel as the referring page of another visit either. The tests and games of an evaluation are taken on the usual practice pages: there, if you accepted analytics, the same is sent as when you practise (the page view and, for games, only the game identifier), nothing that identifies you by name or says it is part of an evaluation.
You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie Policy page.
What is stored in your browser
The app uses your browser's localStorage — a mechanism built into every browser that lets a website save small pieces of data on your own device — for the following, and only the following. The last three entries go in sessionStorage, a variant the browser clears when you close the tab:
- Your language preference
- Your theme (light or dark)
- Your font-size and high-contrast accessibility preferences
- Your current test session (answers and progress, so you can resume)
- Your past test results, so /stats can show your history
- Your progress through a full mock exam (Simulacro), if you start one
- Whether you've dismissed the "add to home screen" reminder banner
- Your analytics cookie choice (accepted/declined)
- Aggregate summaries of practice games from the last 24 hours (no individual answers or timings)
- The resume point of an unfinished practice game (24 hours)
- Your practice-game settings (extra time, reduce motion)
- That you've read the practice-games notice
- Your access to the results report, as a signed token (report:licence:v1)
- A random, anonymous identifier for this browser, for the access device limit (report:device:v1)
- The job profile you chose for the report (report:profile:v1)
- Your practice-game results, kept up to 30 days and only while a paid access is active (games:archive:v1)
- If you signed in to an evaluation from this device, a copy of that candidate session and of the evaluation's progress, with your email partly hidden (for example m•••@gmail.com), so you can come back without repeating the consent or the code: it lasts 24 hours at most and is deleted when you finish the evaluation or use "Sign out of this device" (evaluation:remembered:v1)
- Your recruiter panel session, as a signed token that lasts 12 hours (recruiters:session:v1)
- Your candidate session in a recruiter's evaluation, as a signed token that lasts up to 7 days (evaluation:session:v1)
- The progress of that evaluation in the tab: the link token, a copy of your candidate session, which tests and games it includes, when you started each test and which ones you have finished (evaluation:run:v1)
Almost none of this leaves your browser
localStorage is not like a cookie: the browser does not transmit it over the network on its own. Almost nothing in the list above is sent to LatinShare, to Google, or to anyone else. These are the exceptions: if you accepted analytics, the events described in the Cookie Policy, which only say which game was started or finished, which steps of the report and its purchase were seen or completed, and that a test or a mock exam was finished, with, as their only data, the profile, where the button was, the payment dialog step or the test category, and no emails, codes, scores, times or answers; the random device identifier (report:device:v1), which is sent to our server only when you buy or redeem a code and when your access renews, to enforce the 3-device limit; the code you type when you redeem it; and the recruiter and candidate sessions (recruiters:session:v1 and evaluation:session:v1), which the browser sends to our server with every request of the panel or the evaluation, to identify you. The access token (report:licence:v1) is verified offline in your browser; it lasts up to 3 days and, while your access is active, the browser sends it to our server to exchange it for a new one, with no data about your results. Everything else sits on your device until you clear it or it's overwritten. This is separate from the optional Google Analytics cookies described above, which only exist at all if you consent to them.
What travels to our server when you buy or redeem a report is only what the next section describes; never your answers, scores or history. Practice never sends your answers either. The only time they travel to our server is when you finish a test inside a recruiter's evaluation: the server grades them, keeps only the result and discards them. While a payment is being confirmed, the tab also keeps the PayPal or Flow order number and the purchase email in sessionStorage (report:pending-order:v1), so you can retry the confirmation without paying again; it is cleared once there is a definitive answer or when you close the tab.
If you buy the results report
Only when you buy the report, our server stores this purchase data:
- Your email address
- The order and payment IDs in PayPal or in Flow
- If you pay with Flow, also the RUT, the name or business name, the giro (business activity, if you give one), the address and the comuna you enter, to issue the electronic invoice (factura); they are kept for the period tax law requires
- The amount, currency, language and dates of the purchase
- The hash (SHA-256) of the access code; never the code itself
- A random, anonymous identifier for each browser that redeemed the code (maximum 3)
What it is used for and how long it is kept
We use this data to deliver and resend your code, enforce the 3-device limit, handle refunds and prevent fraud. To limit abuse, the service also stores a request counter keyed by a hash of your IP address. It is used only to limit abuse, not to identify you, and it is deleted in the service's daily maintenance.
Purchase records (PayPal or Flow IDs, amount and dates) are kept for 6 years to meet tax obligations. Your email address and device identifiers are erased 12 months after the code expires. Checkouts that were started but never paid are deleted after 30 days.
If you use the recruiter platform
The recruiter platform is a paid subscription service, described in the Terms of Use. It has no password: your account is your email, and you sign in with an access code we email you. If you subscribe, our server stores:
- Your email address, which identifies your account, and the language of the subscription
- The hash (SHA-256) of your access code, never the code itself
- Your brand: logo, company name, tax ID (RUT) or identification, contact email, phone, website and colour
- Your positions: job title, client, profile, weights and goals per category, games and description
- Your subscription: its PayPal or Flow identifier (and, in Flow, the customer identifier), the plan, its status and its dates
- If you subscribe with Flow, also the RUT, the name or business name, the giro (business activity, if you give one), the address and the comuna you enter, to issue the electronic invoice (factura) of each charge; they are kept for the period tax law requires, even if you delete your account
- The version of the Data Processing Annex you accepted and when your acceptance was recorded
- The subscription payments: identifier, amount, date and whether it was refunded
- How many candidates you have had in the period, to apply the plan's quota
- Your candidates' data and your review of each one, described in the section "If you take a recruiter's evaluation"
Recruiters: what it is used for and how long it is kept
We use this data to give you access to the panel, send you your code, show your brand to your candidates and on your reports, apply the quota and manage the subscription. When you subscribe with PayPal, the email you type, the language and the version of the Data Processing Annex you accepted travel to PayPal with the subscription (in the custom_id field), so it can be linked to your account, and your acceptance recorded, even if the window closes before it is confirmed. If all of it is over 127 characters, only the language and the email travel. If that email has characters PayPal does not accept, or is over 127 characters together with the language, it is not sent; in that case, if the window closes before confirming, the subscription is linked to your PayPal account's email. If you subscribe with Flow, Flow receives your email (also as the customer name created in Flow) and the plan; you enter the card on Flow's site and it never goes through us. While a Flow sign-up is in progress, the server keeps your email, the language, the plan, the version of the Annex you accepted and the Flow customer and subscription identifiers, for 30 days at most.
The panel session lasts 12 hours and is kept only in the tab (sessionStorage); once you close it, you sign in again with your code. To limit abuse, the service uses request counters like the ones described above, keyed by a hash of your IP address or of your account, which are deleted in the daily maintenance.
The data is kept while the subscription is current. When the paid period ends after a cancellation, or immediately after a refund or a payment reversal, the account stays read-only for 12 months: you can view, print and delete what you have. The same happens if the subscription is suspended (because Flow or PayPal can't collect a renewal, or because PayPal suspends it), until it is reactivated. After those 12 months, the account, brand, positions and candidates are deleted in the next daily maintenance; only the payment records (subscription identifier, plan and payments, with the payment method and, with Flow, the customer identifier) remain, without email or brand, for 6 years from the account deletion to meet tax obligations, and then they are deleted too. If another account with the same email was deleted before, their payment records are kept together and the 6 years run from the latest deletion.
You can delete candidates and positions from the panel at any time, read-only included. To ask for access, correction or deletion of your account data, write to contacto@latinshare.com from the account email, without prejudice to what we must keep by law; if you write from another address, we'll ask you to confirm from the account email. If you ask us to delete the account, we cancel the subscription if it is still active, immediately delete the account, brand, positions, candidates and their reports, and we confirm by email; this cannot be undone, so first download as PDF the reports you want to keep. Only the payment records described above remain, for 6 years.
If you take a recruiter's evaluation
A recruiter or a consultancy can invite you, with a link, to take tests and games from this site for a hiring process. In that case, the company that invited you decides what your data is used for and is the controller of its processing; LatinShare processes it on that company's behalf, as a processor, only to provide the service, under Chile's personal data protection law (Law 19.628 as amended by Law 21.719).
Before anything is stored, a consent screen tells you who decides about your data and who else may receive it, who hosts the platform and where the data is kept, what is shared, what for, how candidates are ranked, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights or withdraw your consent, and asks you to declare that you are 18 or older. If you do not accept, none of your data is stored. As across the whole service, request counters keyed by a hash of the IP address exist to limit abuse. If you accept, the date and the version of the text you accepted are recorded, and you confirm your email with a 6-digit code that expires in 15 minutes (only its hash is stored).
The company that invited you receives:
- Your name and email address
- Your results on each test: correct answers out of the total, correct answers by difficulty level, unanswered questions and time used
- Your style in the evaluation's games: the tendency you showed in each one, without answers or timings
- When you confirmed your email and when you finished the evaluation
Evaluations: answers, periods and rights
Your individual answers travel to our server only to be graded: they are graded there and discarded, never stored, and the company never sees them. To keep the exam fair, the server also stores when you started each test and, for tests drawn from a question bank, which questions you got. The company may add its own notes, a decision and a signature to your evaluation.
Your candidate session and the evaluation's progress are kept in the tab (sessionStorage) and, so you can come back from this same device without repeating the consent or the code, also in the browser's local storage for up to 24 hours, or until you finish the evaluation or use "Sign out of this device". On a shared device, sign out with that button. The evaluation's tests and games also stay, like any practice, in your own browser's history, which only you can see.
Your data is kept up to 6 months after the company closes the position, or 12 months after you registered, whichever comes first, and is deleted in the next daily maintenance. A registration whose email was never confirmed is kept for 24 hours and deleted in the next daily maintenance. The company can delete your data from its panel at any time.
To ask for access to, correction, deletion or blocking of your data, to object to its use, or to withdraw your consent, write to the company that invited you (its contact email is shown on the consent screen, if the company gave one) or to contacto@latinshare.com, and we will pass your request on within one business day. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before, but it may stop you from continuing in the process.
Evaluations: how candidates are ranked
A "fit" from 0 to 100 is computed from each test's results: the average of your results per area, weighted by the importance (0 to 3) the company gave each area, with its margin of error. The company sees its candidates sorted by that fit; when the difference between two candidates is smaller than the margin, the order is marked "No clear difference". The games do not count toward fit.
The fit does not predict your performance and no decision is made automatically: a person at the company makes it and must not rely on the fit alone. You can ask the company to explain your result, give your point of view and ask for a person to review the decision.
Who processes this data
Flow (flow.cl), under its contract and privacy policy, processes the payments in Chilean pesos: those of the report, and the card registration and each charge of the recruiter subscriptions. PayPal processes the payments in US dollars, for the report and the subscriptions, under its own privacy policy. LatinShare does not receive or store your card details or your account details in those services. For the report, Flow only receives your email and the amount; for a subscription, your email and the plan.
Microsoft Azure hosts the site and the data of purchases, recruiters and evaluations (Azure Table Storage), and sends the emails with codes from informes@latinshare.com (Azure Communication Services).
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your purchase data by writing to contacto@latinshare.com, without prejudice to what we must keep by law.
Where the data is stored and processed (United States)
The data of purchases, recruiter accounts and evaluations is stored and processed on Microsoft Azure, in the East US 2 region (United States): the site and its API on Azure Static Web Apps and Azure Functions, and the data on Azure Table Storage. The emails with codes are sent with Azure Communication Services, whose data is also located in the United States. Microsoft processes that data only on our behalf, under its data protection addendum for online services, which includes contractual protection clauses.
Google Analytics, only if you accept it, processes usage data in the United States, under Google's terms and privacy policy. PayPal processes payment data as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy, and may do so in the United States and other countries. Flow (flow.cl) processes payment data under its contract and privacy policy.
Chile has not yet declared which countries offer an adequate level of data protection. When the Personal Data Protection Agency publishes that list or its model clauses, we will adjust these safeguards. We are also assessing storing the evaluation data in Chile.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can ask for access to, rectification, erasure or blocking of your data, object to its use and, where applicable, ask for its portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, at no cost. Write to contacto@latinshare.com with your name, the email you used and what you are asking for; to protect your data, we will ask you to confirm the request from that email.
We acknowledge receipt the same business day and answer within the legal deadline: today, 2 business days; once Law 21.719 is in force, 30 calendar days at most, extendable once. If your data comes from an evaluation, the company that invited you decides: we forward your request to it within one business day and let you know. If we do not answer or you disagree with the answer, you can go to the courts and, once it starts operating, to the Personal Data Protection Agency.
Hosting and basic technical logs
This site is served as a static website by our hosting provider (Azure Static Web Apps). Like virtually any website, the act of loading a page causes standard web-server request data (such as your IP address, the page requested, and the time of the request) to pass through that infrastructure — this is a basic function of how the web works, not something we configure, query, or use ourselves. We do not operate any analytics on top of it.
Children's privacy
Apart from the optional report purchase, the recruiter platform and its evaluations, we do not collect personal data from anyone, and we do not knowingly collect it from children either. The platform is suitable for general audiences preparing for technical interviews; the paid report, the recruiter platform and its evaluations are for adults only. Before starting an evaluation, the candidate declares that they are 18 or older.
The practice-games section is intended for people aged 16 and over.
Your control over this data
Since almost everything lives in your browser, you're always in control: clear your browsing data (or just this site's data) from your browser's settings at any time to remove it completely. Uninstalling the app or switching to a different browser or device will also leave no trace of your practice results, since they were never stored anywhere else. The data of a purchase, a recruiter account or an evaluation, however, is on our server and follows the periods stated above; clearing your browser data does not delete it. To delete your recruiter account before those periods, write to contacto@latinshare.com from the account email, as described in "Recruiters: what it is used for and how long it is kept".
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date on this page. We recommend checking back occasionally if you have concerns.
