Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-28
This page explains the cookies this site can set, and the localStorage it always uses instead wherever a cookie isn't actually needed.
The only cookies we ever set: Google Analytics, and only with your consent
Logic Interview Tests sets exactly one category of cookie — Google Analytics (GA4) — and only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", or never make a choice, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and none of its cookies are ever set. We set no other cookies of any kind: no session cookies, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies.
- _ga — distinguishes visitors between sessions, ~2 years
- _ga_<container-id> — persists session state for Google Analytics, ~2 years
Everything else: localStorage, not cookies
Your preferences and test progress are stored using your browser's localStorage instead — see our Privacy Policy for the exact list of what's stored. Unlike a cookie, localStorage data stays on your device and the browser does not send it to any server on its own, which is also why it doesn't need the same consent as an analytics cookie. The recruiter panel session is kept in sessionStorage, which works the same way but is cleared when you close the tab. An evaluation session also goes in sessionStorage and, only on the device where you confirmed your email, also in localStorage for up to 24 hours or until you finish the evaluation or use "Sign out of this device" (see the Privacy Policy). The data of an optional report purchase, of the recruiter platform and of its evaluations is processed on a server; it is described in the Privacy Policy.
Why localStorage doesn't need a consent banner (but Google Analytics does)
Under most cookie/ePrivacy-style regulations, consent isn't required for storage that is strictly functional — needed to make a feature you asked for work (like remembering your theme or your place in a test) — and isn't used for tracking, profiling, or advertising. Every localStorage key we use falls into that category. Google Analytics is different: it's used to measure usage, so we ask first.
Analytics events sent (only with consent)
If you accept analytics, we send Google Analytics page views (the page visited and its title) and these events, each with only the data stated or none at all. From the practice games: game_started, game_completed, game_abandoned and circuit_completed, with the game identifier. From the report: report_view, with the chosen profile; report_unlock_click; report_purchase_success; and report_redeem_success. From the path to the report: report_cta_click, with where the button was (a test result, the mock exam, your stats, the games summary or the home page); checkout_open, with the dialog step (payment or redeeming a code); report_expired_view; practice_test_completed, with the test category; and simulacro_completed. No event carries anything else: we never send emails, codes, scores, times (response times included), answers or settings. The pages of an evaluation and of the recruiter panel send no page views or events.
Changing your choice
You can accept or decline Google Analytics at any time using the buttons below — this updates your stored choice immediately and, if you decline after previously accepting, prevents any further Analytics activity on future page loads. If you decline, no new analytics data is sent from that point on and its cookies are removed.
How to clear this data
You can remove everything this site has stored (both the Google Analytics cookies, if you accepted them, and all localStorage data) at any time from your browser's site-data settings — no account or login is needed to do this.
