About this test
Conditional-probability problems built around Bayes' theorem and the "base-rate fallacy" — the famous, deeply counter-intuitive result that even a highly accurate test can be mostly wrong when the thing it's testing for is rare. Distinct from Probability Reasoning I: that test covered independent events and combinatorics with a fixed, known sample space; this one is about updating a belief given new evidence, the reasoning skill behind quantitative interviews, medical statistics, and data science.
